Our world

It started with an empty wall and an idea of our own.

When we were furnishing our own flat, we were looking for artworks we could recognise ourselves in. Strong colours, bold compositions and subjects that stir something in us. We wanted our home to reflect what we love and how we want to feel in it. That is exactly what led us to our own digital work and to the creation of the GALERIE brand.

Today our work is about developing subjects, finding their colour and giving them a final visual direction. We are interested in how shapes and colours work together, what mood they create and what they can tell. We choose every motif with an idea of what it should bring to a room — joy, courage, closeness or a new view of something familiar.

That is how our own collections come about. What they share is a love of strong colour, of freedom and of artworks with a character of their own. We find inspiration in everyday feelings, in relationships and in small moments that deserve to be kept.
